Art in the Mayor´s Office new exhibit featuring artist Suad Bejtovic is on Display.

Our collaboration with Frisco Arts continues with the “Art in the Mayor´s Office” program, a call to our member artists to submit their work for consideration to be exhibited in the Mayor’s office. Another great opportunity we offer during the year for our community of artists.

Congratulations to our member Suad Bejtovic for being the selected artist of this quarter. Bejtovic brought to display his amazing photography.

We thank Mayor Jeff Cheney for his continued support to VAGF and the arts in Frisco; we’re very honored to be partners in this program, which brings awareness to the amazing talent we have in our city. Our appreciation also goes to Stephen Ross, Public Art Coordinator for facilitating all of this and making it happen.

Join the “Crème de la Crème” of art in our upcoming Juried Show opening October 20.

It is time to exhibit the best of the best, the call for “Crème de la Crème” was a total success and with all honesty the selection is amazing, truly outstanding.

With an open theme, the call encouraged Texas artists to create their best piece to participate in our Juried Show and qualify for cash prizes in different categories. The exhibition will not be far from that, we have the best of the best pieces in and you will be delighted by the diversity and quality of each artist.

The Juror for the show is Kristin Rivas, current President of the Dallas Arts Dealers Association (DADA) and Director of Samuel Lynne Galleries. As usual we will have a special Juror to select the “Art that speak to me”, for this show we will have the Mayor of Frisco, Jeff Cheney.

A unique opening event, full of style and with the best expressions of art in each piece, “Crème de la Crème” promises to be an exhibition not to be missed where the passion of the artists are taken to another level admiring the talent and challenge of self-improvement behind each artistic practice.

Be sure to be at the Frisco Discovery Center on October 20th for the opening night and go with your best style to join a “Crème de la Crème” gathering.

“Creations 2019” was an exhibit of color and excitement at One River School Art & Design.

Continuing with our commitment to promote our community of artists, we joined the One River School of Art & Design to carry out the exhibition “Creations 2019”, which opened last Thursday, August 8 in a pleasant meeting between artists, visitors and local students .

The sample was full of color and various techniques. This was an exciting opportunity, every day we are opening doors to fill Frisco with art, and we appreciate the support of institutions such as this that allow the talent behind each of the pieces to be shown even more, contributing to the artistic movement of our city.

Don´t miss this wonderful collective of art. The exhibition will continue open until September 27 in the school hall.
