Hollyhock Artist Pavilion Art Exhibit 2017
This is a call for all artists to submit their artworks for Hollyhock Artist Pavilion Art Exhibit to be held on March 25th 2017. This is a one day event and the Exhibit will be open to Public from 12:00 to 4:00 pm on March 25th and it will be a part of the Grand Hollyhock Opening Project. Artists are requested to collect their works after 4:00 pm once the Event is over. This exhibit is for members only.
We have a space to exhibit 6-8 sculptures and about 14 artworks on the wall. All the artworks will be for sale. Estimated number of people attending the event is about 700/1250 people. Mega promotions are done by the Hollyhock Project Organisers.
Entries will be accepted in the categories of Painting, Drawing, Photography Mixed Media, and Sculpture. Subject matter is open. All works should be artists original creation. If interested, send 3 images of your artworks as JPEG to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration by Sunday, March 19. Include dimensions, medium, title and sale price for each submitted work.
You will be notified of acceptance into the show by Wednesday, March 22. Accepted works must be delivered to the event ground at 16360 Hollyhock Rd. Frisco, TX 75033 on March 25 (time will be communicated to those participate in the exhibit).

Acceptance:Wednesday, March 22
Take-in: Saturday March 25
Take-down: Saturday March 25
Exhibit is free for VAGF members. Join VAGF now for only $35 to receive members benefits throughout the year.
All submitted works should be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame. Saw-tooth hanging will not be accepted. All works on 1/2” canvases should be framed. All the works on 1”to 2” canvases need to have neatly painted edges if not framed. Please keep in mind that this is outdoor event; we will take the best efforts to do secure installation. Gallery wrapped canvases are preferred, no artworks under glass; sculptures for this particular event need to be heavy.
From each sale during the event VAGF requests a 20% donation.
Artist are responsible for labeling their artworks with prices clearly stated. Feel free to bring your business cards to set on the exhibit table.
We do need at least 6 volunteers to help with the event:
- Children activity table. We will have a simple craft project for children and will need volunteers to oversee activities in 1 hr shifts
- Art pavilion / VAGF table . We need 1-2 volunteers to oversee the exhibit
