Downtown, Billy Brown
Is a book that I have been working on that will use artistic expressions, of images that I captured with my camera. It will tell the story, mostly through the use of computer edited images. It will cover most of the construction of the NTTA Tollway, as it was built through Frisco. I hope to inspire artistic thought, and involvement of the younger generation. I would like for my work to inspire their own way of expressing what is important to them. It is just one of the ways to tell my own story, by using Visual Art. Billy grew up in the country, after leaving the big city. Frisco has grown quite alot since Billy moved to the area, in 1976. Billy loved the area he grew up in, and noticed that change was going to replace most of what we loved. Billy did more than watch his town grow, he was involved in perserving some of its past, as well as capturing its new vision. Billy has been capturing images for over the past 10 years. Billy still has alot to learn, before he will make it Downtown. But maybe someday he will be there to stay, with help from some of his friends, he will meet along his way. Attached thumbnail(s)  |
I have been working on capturing images, all around Collin County, for many years. I have just added some of my latest images, into my gallery. Old # 19, is my own expression of a wonderiful Locamotive, restored by the Heritage Association of Frisco, that reminds us all of yersterdays past! The one piece, ( Old # 19 ) was added as well, and attached here. It was edited just for my own cororiful take, and divided up into quarters as well. To make a four part; A, B, C, and D when put together they form one piece. My world is full of color, or thats how I choose to view it. I hope you enjoy my artistic expressions!
